The village of Toro is set in the heart of Castilla Leon and who better to bring some of its authentic cuisine to London than Isidro Cenizo, a true Toresano.
Although his career has developed in London his Spanish roots remain strong and shine through in the food offered.
Isidro worked for Mark Birley at Annabel’s and Harry’s Bar for 22 years. He continued his successby launching Birley’s last venture George; before spreading his expertise into the country to manage the Park Restaurant at Stoke Park.
Toresano is Isidro’s third and most successful solo project to date, Largely attributable to the talents of head chef Victor Claro who he has known for 16 years.
Toresano offers a wide range of delicious tapas, elegant and flavoursome main courses and both traditional and modern desserts. Each course can be complimented by a rich Rioja or a fine wine straight from Toro itself.
Toro boasts some 49 bodegas, producing wines with their own distinct flavours and personalities. Toro is fast becoming a well known and highly acclaimed wine-making region, and Toresano is proud to be one of the few restaurants to offer its excellent wines to its customers.
